Double twisted wire mesh containers filled with stones are hexagonal Gabion Baskets used to create flexible, permeable and sturdier structures. These baskets are very common in gabion retaining walls, riverbank protection, canal revetments, slope stabilization and erosion control works.
Our hexagonal gabion baskets are manufactured with high tensile steel wire with heavy zinc coating or PVC coating and are made to last long and remain stable in the harsh environment.
Product description
The Hexagonal Gabion Baskets are made of Hexagonal wire mesh which is double twisted and hence more flexible and stronger. The two twisting helps to avoid mesh loosening in case of wire breaking, which makes the structure very sure with the civil engineering constructions.
The baskets are being delivered in flat-pack format so that they can be easily transported and assembled on-site. Internal diaphragms are also given to retain shape and even distribution of stone.
Our baskets are available in galvanized and PVC coated versions that can resist corrosion, soil pressure, impact of water flow and environmental stress.
These baskets can drain naturally, decrease the hydrostatic pressure on the back of retaining walls and avoid the structural fall.
